The Crime Detection Department receives a book on devil worship from a fellow officer after he was suddenly killed. Along with notes on Malleus Maleficarum, the infamous treatise on witches published in the 15th century, there are annotations on death spells, diagrams of car accidents and references of burnt matches, fish scales and blood-stained feathers. The police department is baffled, however, after further investigation, they discover that a number of recent cases have been closed after verdicts of sudden coronary disease given by the same expert. When they receive the post-mortem results on the dead detective and discover that some drug was present in his blood before he died, the case begins to take on sinister way…
