On 3^rd of November took place the press conference on the theme: «The Start of film «Easy» production - the first Ukrainian-Italian co-production in the history». The shooting of the Ukrainian-Italian comedy «Easy» is beginning this winter. By this project, Ukrainian state film agency returns to the launch of new production projects and distribution of national and co-production films.

 

 

 

 

 

Philip Ilienko, the Chairman of the Ukrainian state film agency added, – «This project is significant for us because it is the first Ukrainian-Italian co-production. In addition, it is very important for us to work together with our Italian colleagues, because Italy is a prominent cinematographic country. By this project, the State Cinema Committee returns to launch of full-length feature films and, generally, to the production and dissemination of national and co-production films. It happened that the first project is film «Easy». The agreement is going to be singed this week and the project will get financial support to the end of the month».

Project «Easy» has been in the Ukrainian state film agency production plans for a long time. As far as the work on the film (the events of which take place in summer) has been delayed, now the script will get some changes and shooting in winter will start.

Philip Ilienko expressed the hope that the film «Easy» will become a great success with audiences both in Italy and in Ukraine and in other countries of Europe and the world.

The movie «Easy» is made due to the financial support of the Ukrainian state film agency, the Ministry of Culture of Italy, the Italian Cultural Institute in Kiev and the Audiovisual Fund of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

«Easy»- a co-production of the following companies: Fresh Production (Kiev, Ukraine), Bartleby Film (Rome, Italy), Pilgrim Film (Trieste, Italy). Scriptwriter and director of the film – Andrea Magnani. The script was created in cooperation with the Mediterranean Film Institute script workshop and with the participation of a famous Greek scriptwriter and writer Nicos Panayotopoulos.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

«Easy» is a comedy that tells the story of depressed 40-year-old Italian Isidoro and his adventures in the Ukrainian Carpathians. He is a former handsome man and successful pilot of «Formula 3», who sank to the bottom of despair and unable to commit suicide. Isidoro has to submit his brother, the only person who supports a spark of life inside him … Now Isidoro performs the task – to bring home from Italy to the Carpathian village the coffin of the deceased on a construction Ukrainian migrant worker.
