Espresso Kino visited film set of a new 4-part movie «Black Flower». This movie is timed to 30th anniversary of Chernobyl tragedy. Dozens of locations are used for shooting the film. Ukrainian and foreign actors play roles. A big number of special effects is also used.
According to the plot, the main character is young teacher of elementary grades, who comes to Pripyat a short time before the catastrophe. Right there she meets a love of her life and dreams of a big family. However, the events of April irrevocably change the lives of the heroes of the film «Black Flower».
The director, Roman Barabash says: «Everything goes around the human destinies in this film. This story caught my attention because in it on the background of the Chernobyl disaster, we trace the fate of individual people who are willingly or unwillingly somehow connected with the accident. What could be more interesting, than watching people in the aggravation of dramatic situations…»
The film will be released next spring.
Fresh Production Company will shoot the film by commission from TV channel «Ukraine».
