On the 25th and 26th of June 2016 in Art-berth was held National Ukrainian Movies Festival “Open Night. 19^th shot “.

The 19th Festival was organized with support of the State Film Agency of Ukraine and Kyiv City State Administration.

On the other part, company Fresh Production Group, as well as last year, became one of  benefactors of the festival and provided the event with light and sound equipment.

According to the producers Julia Cherniavskaya and Oleg Shcherbina: “It is always very important to support talented beginnings in cinema, which, over time, can develop into a worthy successor.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Open night” – Ukrainian Film Festival, founded in 1997. The founder and permanent organizer of the festival – director Michael Ilienko. Time: the last weekend of June. Venue: Kiev, Art-berth.

 

 

 

 

 

In 2016, partner of the international guest program was Czech cultural center. Guests of honor were the directors Jakub Koshtyalem, Paul Soukup and Robin Kvapil. As part of the Czech program was a demonstration of 8 best films of students and graduates of FAMU (Czech Film Academy). There was also free work-shop with Robin Kvapil, to which all interested filmmakers were invited. At the end of the program all guest had an opportunity to watch silent movie of 1929 – “Erotikon” directed by Gustav Mach with background music of Czech music group FORMA. This part of the event was sponsored by National Center of Alexander Dovzhenko.
