The story centers around friends Volodymyr, Borys and Tamara. Tamara is a successful lawyer, a wise, vigorous, exceptionally beautiful and intelligent woman. Looking at her, men cannot remain indifferent. Many have fallen in love with her but her heart belonged to only one man Maksim, who died three years ago under obscure circumstances. To Borys she had been the wife of his best friend, therefore he didn’t have the right to seek her affection, but now, after Max’s death, everything has changed.
