14 February 2012, within Berlinale festival «European Film Market», the presentation of the film “Ursus” will take place, on a Georgian film art centre stand.  The project will be presenting by Otar Shamatava – producer, Zaza Buadze – creative producer and screen writer, Oleg Scherbyna and Julia Cherniavska – producers (Fresh Production), and Haino Deckert – producer (Ma. Ja. De.).

One of the main film character Bogdan Benyuk will take part in project presentation.

- What was the interest of the story about Caucasian bear and why did you agreed on the role in this film?

B.B.: I like tragicomedy very mach. To my mind, this is the most truthful genre, approach to life, cause joy and sadness, fun and tragedy are combined like in every human life. Just like this, truthful, the story about Caucasian bear is appeared. The screen attracted me by eternal questions of love and betrayal, revenge and forgiveness, desire for freedom and captivity at once inside one person. I addition I am very interested to work with Georgian and German colleagues.

- You have a great arsenal of roles! How do you think, whom is the most your hero like, you are going to play in “Ursus”?

B.B.: There are so many roles, but for my actor luck, they are so different. Foma Gogol role is attractive for me for opportunity to play a new character, unlike the others. He is a man with a difficult destiny, who happens to experience a family tragedy, tragedies of Georgia, tragedies if post-Soviet times, when there was no need in professionals. But he keeps a presence of Georgian-Ukrainian indestructible optimism, which help us to concur the audience.

- “Ursus” is a Ukrainian-Georgian-German project. What are you waiting of cooperation with foreign colleagues’.

B.B.: I am waiting an interesting teamwork. Hope for pleasant cooperation, cause work with professionals is always a pleasure.

From 9 to 19 of February 2012 within international Berlin film festival, traditionally the «European Film Market» will take place- one of the most important events in the world film industry. The cooperation will be discussed in details, concluded a treaties on distribution or film financial support. This year on Film Market the 400 stands will be raised, representing 90 countries.
