«Red Lotus» on the «DetectiveFEST-2009»
Full-length television film «Red Lotus» manufactured by the «Fresh Production» and «Star Media» movie-making companies was awarded a special prize of the XI «DetectiveFEST» International Festival of Detective Films and Law TV Programs. The nomination is «The Best Detective Television Film or Serial Episode with Complete Plot». According to Yuriy Mitiushin, managing producer of the festival, «Red Lotus» was awarded the second most important prize of the seven special prizes.
The festival was held in Moscow from 15 through 20 April. A total of 230 films and programs from over 20 countries participated in the competition.
«Red Lotus» filmed by Zaza Buadze tell about a mother ready to do anything to get her child back.
Cast – Elena Poliakova, Mikhail Mamayev, Nataliya Lesnikovskaya, Vladimir Kapustin, Georgiy Khostikoyev, Oleg Primogenov, Stanislav Boklan, Dmitriy Surzhikov and others.
