Music in the film is the instrument for emphasizing, adding, playing not only the accompany role, but sometimes – the main one. Julia Chernyavskaya & Alexander Kudrii – the saund-producer FRESH PRODUCTION GROUP  Co. are share their own point of view (opinion).

- So what role is played by music in the cinema?

A.K.: Music in the film has a significant role!  It is meaning of emotional sense space perception, creating conditions for empathy, creating filling of involving the process.  Emotional cell is leaving a huge trail of music after viewing the film.

J.C.: Very seldom the music is attracting gazing of the shooting process participates. Sometimes it becomes the only meaning to save, that became impossible by visual effects. Write music, song or performer could create multiplying, to make a volume, sometimes impossible to reflect during shot terms film making process. That’s why in TV movie music has such a significant role. It is not forgotten, the importance is obvious, but as a rule, passing over in silence.

- In what way the film genre is involving on the composer, music selection? Interesting to know how does it happened?

A.K.: The profession of the modern composer is very complex. The professionals known in wild spectrum of genres & stiles are in a big value. The complicity in skills they have to possess. The notation, programming, sound production is a base for today’s composer, working with films. He must be well known not only in modern music tendencies, but also in traditional academic schools, to be polystylistic  & multigenre.

- For five years Fresh Production made a lot of TV works. What pictures became the most memorable in terms of music design.

J.C.: It is hard to separate one specific project. Every work is unique. Our company is involving the bright & professional authors. The names will talk themselves: Igor Stetsiuk “The autumn flowers”, “Money for daughter”, “By the mysterious circumstances”, “The sun circle”, Sergey Grimalskii “The homeless”, “The music teacher”, Oleg Shak “The women tears”, The necklace for snow women”, “The seven petal”, “The surprise”, Dmitrii Shurov “The harp for the lover”, “Gaming the soldiers”, “The button”, Alexander Ponamorev “My prince”. Mozart music is heard in  “The quartet for two”.

-We heard many times about your successful cooperation to Igor Stetsiuk. It was dimensioned & complex works. Are you going to continua to cooperate to composer in connection with serial “By the mysterious circumstances” renewal production.

J.C.: Undoubtedly, “By the mysterious circumstances” was successful, perfectly formed team & creative vision of the project. The music spirit of the retro-detective is a merit of Igor Stetsiuk only. We are planning the sequel in the same genre, that’s why are waiting the beginning of the next 8 series.

- Oleg Shak is a Honoured Artist of Ukraine, composer, singer, arranger. You have four teamworks. What is a secret of such a fruitful cooperation?

J.C.: Oleg wrote much music works to our films indeed. All of the films became popular. This is a secret. I know, if Oleg Shak is working on the project, a song will appear on 99,9% in the movie. His music is evoking to sing. As a result, all main heroes are singing, that appear very seldom in contemporary TV films. Everything began from the picture “Woman tears”. Oleg Shak made not only the music but also a song, which was lately included to his album.

- You are working with famous composers, but there are film music, written by unknown, young authors. How far you can trust a young composer?

A.K.: You can trust, but within reasonable limits. It is possible to mould a young author. For example – film “The Red lotus” (composer Valerii Antoniuk). At that time he was a graduator of the conservatoire. It was one of his first works, to my mined successful enough.  Later, he wrote another two works to our films: “The snake is crawling” & “The grain day”. At the present time Valerii is a member of the National Composer Union of Ukraine & successfully working in different music genres.

J.C.: All novices are the producer scent. The producer has to see & to hear the one who can afford the work on the picture, cause the responsibility is very high & not only financial but also creative. All team is working hand by hand & give a big part of their lives up to work. Even a mature composer could not feel the essence of the matter fully. At that moment the main role is playing sound-producer. He becomes a bridge between film director & composer. At this sense Fresh Production is very successful, cause the company is in a safe hands of Alexander Kurii.

A.K.: As a theatre “Drama & Comedy” director Andrei Belous said: “Music is educates!” It is educated not only an actor but also an audience. It is the most noble music task. That is why we underline the composers work on film. Film making is a team work. Any loosen link may destroy its magic.
