“Fresh Production” Company, “Star Media” order is starting a production series sequel “Mysterious circumstances“.

The picture producer Julia Cherniavska and script authors Natalia & Valerii Lapikura are commented the second season.

- It is already a second season. To your mind, what was a reason to start a production a second season (series sequel).

Julia Cherniavska: Of cause, the four previous films success. Not only in Ukraine & CIS, but also among Russian speaking audience in Europe, USA, & Australia.

- Strong scenario literary background. Four cinematized novels were nominated as “Book Oscar” – “The best Book of the year on BBC version” the international competition & were semifinalists. In 2006 this detective novels marked a special award on the international forum of the Ukrainian publishers as “The best Ukrainian book serial”.

- Maxim Makheda high professionalism. He filmed exactly a retro-detective, not a pseudo-historical “soap” with fast dressed actors. The audience it understand & appreciate.

- You made a site devoted to serial  “Mysterious Circumstances”. Tell us about it.

Natalia & Valerii Lapikura: Our site is devoted to our creativity. We set of a separate big photo album on a site, where reflecting the stages of film creating, the fragments of different stories, audience questions. The spontaneous discussion appeared on Russian specialized sited http://www.kino-teatr.ru/kino/movie/post/81358/forum/. It was about our serial. We maintained the conversation; speak openly, as scenario authors, answered the questions & audience comments. Among a claim were: “Bobick has different arms” or “an actress has a wrong manicure”, but also valuable.

-How do you taking into account the wishes of audience. If any of them were realized in second season scenario?

Natalia & Valerii Lapikura: The main wish will be realized in the beginning of the first film of new season. But let’s abstain from details to maintain the intrigue. In fact we had little mistakes in the first season, so we successfully minimized them in sequel.  For example, in the third film Scrota’s bright were studding surgery in the Medical University by correspondence. Indeed,  studding by correspondence in Medical University is not exists. Audience noticed. The next series it turned out that Lyuba played a trick & very successfully, if we beleaved.

Except remarks were also wishes. KGB veterans tolled many interesting details about Andropov & Shchelokov agencies cooperation. We took into account this important information. But  the best surprise was made by the viewer, who did 15 years in prison  for armed robbery & “gave up”. He told about unique psychological methods of examination.  He appeared to be a prototype for our lieutenant colonel “Staryi” (Oldman). The most difficult was to describe the personal life of Staryi & Capitan Sirota. That generation of soviet militiamen  gave themselves to work, burned on work & died on work.
